The Lawrence Township Emergency Medical Service is a dedicated organization operating a minimum of one staffed ambulance on 12-hour shifts, 24/7, and comprised of a career staff of professionals with the highest standards for quality and excellence. We are committed to providing dependable, professional emergency medical service to all residents and visitors of the Township of Lawrence and surrounding communities while exhibiting compassion and respect for human dignity. Lawrence EMS has a long-standing history as a visible member of the community. We are proud to involve ourselves in all aspects of health and safety prevention as well as promoting public relations to our community.

Our Mission and Values

The Lawrence Township Emergency Medical Service is committed to being a leader in emergency medical services and providing the finest in quality, professional pre-hospital care to the residents and visitors of Lawrence and surrounding communities.

Our staff is comprised of eight full-time employees, one full-time EMS Chief, and approximately 20 per-diem EMS providers. Our workforce includes skilled professionals from different backgrounds and cultures reflecting the diversity of the community we proudly serve. All of our employees are highly trained in various aspects of emergency services ranging from EMT, Paramedics, Nursing, Fire, specialty operations such as search and rescue, emergency management as well as child car seat installation to name a few. 

We continue to strive for excellence in our service to our community and surrounding areas by promoting evidence-based current patient care practices combined with compassion and respect.
