Council Member Bonne O’Flanagan Giglio

O’Flanagan Giglio was appointed to fill a vacancy by the Council in February 2026. She has been a resident of Lawrence since 2010, having relocated from North Jersey to raise her family. She has been an active community member and volunteer, sitting on many boards and committees. She has served as the president of the Preschool PTO, the local MOMS Club, the elementary school PTO and the intermediate school PTO. She has served as the Lawrence Township Democratic Committee person for District 14 since 2014. She serves as the Secretary for the New Jersey Education Foundation Partnership. 

She was appointed to the Mercer County Commission on the Status of Women and was elected as the Secretary. She was elected as the Secretary of the Mercer County Federation of Democratic Women. She is most proud of serving on the Lawrence Township Recreation Advisory Committee for 8 years. She enjoys serving alongside some of the most dedicated volunteers in our town who sacrifice their own time to make Lawrence a better place for everyone. Bonne is a professional fundraiser and event planner, working with an environmental non-profit, women's healthcare and currently working as the Executive Director of the Lawrence Township Education Foundation. 

She is the proud parent of two Lawrence Township public school students and she truly believes in the power of public education. She is looking forward to bringing her political experience and her knowledge and love of this community to the Town Council. Her motto is taken from the hiking principle: "Leave it better than you found it".
