2025 Events

Join Us for the 63rd Annual Commemoration of Colonel Edward Hand’s Delaying Tactics March

January 4, 2025

Celebrate history with us as we honor the bravery and strategy of Colonel Edward Hand! This exciting event kicks off at 10 AM with a special historical program at the Lawrence Township Municipal Building, followed by a thrilling musket firing demonstration.

Then, take part in a two-mile march along the historic highway to the delaying action sites, ending at Shabakunk Creek, near Notre Dame High School.

After the march, relax and enjoy light refreshments at the Lawrence Township Nature Center.

It’s a fun, educational, and memorable experience for all ages! Don’t miss out on this chance to walk in the footsteps of history and have a great time with your community! Any questions please contact the Lawrence Township Recreation Department 609-844-7067





       


Jolly Trolley

Registration opens on Monday, December 2nd with three different time slots.
Session I: 5pm – Registration opens 12/2 @ 5:00pm
Session II: 6pm – Registration opens 12/2 @ 6:00pm
Session III: 7pm – Registration opens 12/2 @ 7:00pm
Registration will be taken through CommunityPass so be sure to create an account in advance, if you do not have one already, to be able to register at the designated time. All members that wish to register for the Jolly Trolley must already be added to your family account. https://www.communitypass.net/login
Although we might not cover every neighborhood in town, we'll make every effort to design a fantastic route for everyone to enjoy.
Let's make this season merry and bright as we explore the town's dazzling house lights and community voted favorites!
