Township ordinance requires that owners, occupants and tenants of property which abut a sidewalk are responsible for removing snow or ice from the sidewalk. A path must be cleared to a width of 24 inches and must be cleared within 24 hours from the time that the snow event ended or the ice formed as per Lawrence Township ordinance #378.
