Hazardous Waste

The Mercer County Improvement Authority hosts three Household Hazardous Waste events each year:

September 21, 2024

Location:  Dempster Fire Training Center - 350 Lawrence Station Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 

Time:  8:00am - 2:00pm

Mercer County residents may safely dispose of the following

       Aerosol cans  
       Used Motor Oil  
       Propane Gas Tanks  
       Pesticides & Herbicides  
       Car Batteries  
       Paint Thinner      
       Oil Based Paint (No Latex Paint)
       Stains & Varnishes  
       Gasoline  
       Anti-freeze  
       Driveway Sealer  
       Insect Repellents  
       Mercury  
       Fluorescent & CFL Bulbs
