Central Park, located on Eggert Crossing Road is the largest developed park in Lawrence Township. It features 3 lighted tennis courts, Zimmer soccer field, Pezzicola, Grant, Hughes and Carroll baseball fields, soccer fields (fall) and lacrosse fields (spring). Central Park is also the home to the newly constructed Elvin Bethea Field in honor of Lawrence Township's own National Football League Hall of Fame member Elvin Bethea. Basketball courts and playground equipment are also available. Access to the park is from Eggert Crossing Road with parking available adjacent to the Lawrence Intermediate School or in either of the two parking lots opposite the New Jersey National Guard Armory.
Follow 295 north to 95 south to exit 7A Route 206 South (Trenton). Travelling south on 206 after passing through the first light(Rider University) turn right at the second traffic signal (Eggert Crossing Road). Central Park is 1/4 mile on the right.
